House Rules & Rental Agreement

Vista Malecón is one private residence, personally hosted. These terms keep the home, the building, and every guest well cared for. By sending a reservation request, you agree to them on behalf of everyone in your party.

01The residence & your party

The residence sleeps up to four guests. The number of guests in your reservation is the maximum permitted to stay.
This is a private home, not an event space. Parties and gatherings are not permitted, in keeping with the building's residential policy.
Visitors are welcome only with prior approval from the hosts. When approved, one visitor at a time may join you during the day; visitors may not stay overnight.
Please treat the building's staff and neighbors with the same courtesy you would in any fine residence. The building is attended by a doorman and monitored for the security of residents and guests.

02Caring for the home

Vista Malecón is smoke-free throughout, including the balcony and all indoor spaces.
To protect the floors and carpets, we ask that shoes are removed beyond the foyer. It keeps the residence as it should be for you and for the guests who follow.
Pets are not permitted.
Please leave the residence as you found it. Everyday tidiness is all we ask; a full clean is handled after departure.

03Damage & responsibility

You are responsible for the residence and its contents during your stay. Normal wear from a considerate stay is expected and never charged.

In the event of damage beyond normal wear, missing items, or a breach of these house rules (for example smoking, an unapproved gathering, or an unregistered overnight guest), you authorize Vista Malecón to charge the payment method on file for the documented cost of remediation, repair, replacement, or additional cleaning. We will always share the details and any supporting evidence with you first.

Any amount charged reflects the actual cost incurred; it is a recovery of cost, not a penalty.

04Arrival, payment & cancellation

Every reservation is reviewed and approved personally before dates are held. Nothing is charged when you send a request.
If your dates are approved, you receive a private, secure payment link. Your reservation is confirmed once payment is complete.
Check-in and check-out times, arrival directions, and access details are shared with you after approval.
To change or cancel confirmed dates, contact the hosts as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.

05Liability

Guests use the residence, the building's shared areas, and any arranged services at their own risk. Vista Malecón is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to personal property except where required by law. This agreement is governed by the laws of Peru, where the residence is located.
